Lynette Wolfe
Lynette Wolfe makes country music the way it’s always been made—honest, lived-in, and built to last. Rooted in honky tonk, classic country, and rockabilly, her sound carries the emotional weight of the past while remaining firmly present. Influenced by the unforgettable voices of Patsy Cline and Jean Shepard, Wolfe sings with clarity, strength, and an unshakable sense of truth. An upright bass player at heart, Wolfe’s musical foundation is shaped by the steady elegance of Bob Moore and the genre-crossing legacy of Carol Kaye. That influence runs deep in her work, giving each song a pulse that swings, drives, and breathes. Whether the mood is heartbreak or resilience, her music leaves room for the story to speak for itself. Based in Colorado, Wolfe has released three albums and a record, including A Hard Place To Be (2019), Better Days (2025), followed by the EP Spotlight later that year. She produces her own recordings as well as projects for other artists, approaching each session with care, restraint, and respect for the song. In 2025, she was named MWCMA Female Vocalist of the Year and earned multiple additional nominations, along with two Top 10 wins from the 2025 World Songwriting Awards. When she’s not in the studio, Wolfe performs regularly with her band, Some Hustlers, bringing her songs to life on stages steeped in history, including Austin’s Continental Club and Colorado Springs historic Antlers Hotel. Her music belongs to the long tradition of country records meant to be played loud, played often, and worn in by time.

Lynette Wolfe is a Honky Tonk artist first and foremost, carrying the spirit of hard-earned songs, neon-lit dance floors, and country music made to move both hearts and boots. Based in Colorado, her sound is rooted in classic honky tonk tradition, shaped by the emotional directness and strength of legends like Patsy Cline and Jean Shepard. Wolfe’s music lives in the balance between sorrow and swing—where heartbreak is delivered with grace and the rhythm never lets go. As an upright bass player, her musical foundation is deeply influenced by Bob Moore and Carol Kaye, whose restraint, feel, and groove defined generations of records. That sensibility runs through Wolfe’s work, giving her songs a steady pulse and a timeless sense of place.
